Open Settings from any tab and tap Unlock PhiDox Pro, or reach the same paywall from any Pro feature — a locked entry kind, the Sound tab, Lexicon patterns, or export. It's a single one-time purchase, not a subscription.
I reinstalled the app or got a new phone. How do I get Pro back?
Tap Restore Purchases in Settings, or on the paywall screen. It's tied to your Apple ID, not your device, so this recovers it without paying again.
Where is my data stored?
Entirely on your device. PhiDox has no account and no server, so there's nothing to sync or lose in a data breach — but it also means there's currently no automatic backup beyond what iOS itself backs up for your device. Export regularly if you want an extra copy.
How do I get my journal out of PhiDox?
Settings → Export as Markdown or Export as JSON. Markdown export is a single readable document; JSON includes every field, including ratings, symbol links, and meaning revisions. Both are Pro features.
Why doesn't the binaural sound generator do anything?
It needs headphones. Binaural beats are two slightly different tones, one per ear — through a phone speaker, both tones reach both ears and no beat is produced. PhiDox will tell you when it doesn't detect a headphone connection.
